Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how BoomTec Inc. LLC (“Utility Helps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles refunds for our utility management services, including new connections, service cancellations, transfers, and bill payments made through our multi-bill dashboard. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

1. Service Fees

Any service fee charged by BoomTec Inc. LLC for setting up, transferring, or cancelling a utility connection is generally non-refundable once we have begun processing your request with the relevant utility provider, as work and coordination on our end has already taken place.

2. Requests Cancelled Before Processing

If you cancel a request before we have submitted it to the relevant utility provider, you are eligible for a full refund of any service fee paid. Once a request has been submitted to a provider, refund eligibility may be limited depending on whether the provider has already taken action on the request.

3. Utility Bill Payments

Payments you make toward a utility bill through our platform are passed on to the applicable utility provider. Refunds for amounts paid toward a bill (for example, in the case of a billing error or overpayment) are subject to that provider’s own refund and billing dispute policies. We will assist you in coordinating with the provider where possible, but we do not control their refund timelines or decisions.

4. Billing Errors on Our Part

If you believe you were incorrectly charged a service fee due to an error on our part, contact us within 30 days of the charge. We will review the transaction and, if an error is confirmed, issue a full refund to your original payment method.

5. How Refunds Are Issued

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the transaction. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take several business days for a refund to appear on your statement after it has been processed.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
